But I can share a few things - you can't change the pistons (at least not officially). I can't comment much on the durability since I use these brakes only 9 months. Therfore I recommend the sintered (metal) pads for front brake usage, which don't tend to overheat as much as soft ones and last way longer. Stock (soft) pads wear rather quickly in front (the same applies to swisstop pads which are a bit better than stock ones but cost twice as much) and tend to overheat if you brake a lot.
